SK16 Coolant Sealing Collets
The SK collet system features an 8° taper angle versus the 16° taper for ER type collets. This results in higher gripping forces but also results in less range of each collet. Although range is .019 for most SK collets we recommend you not use more than .01 collapse.
SK collets sit deeper in the tool holder compared to TG and ER type collet systems. This results in higher accuracy and rigidity.
