- These collets are great for machines that do not have rigid tapping
- Collet has an internal spring to compensate for any feed errors while tapping
- These tapping collets only extend via internal spring. They do not compress
- Because these collets do not compress always feed min 20% slower than actual calculated feed
- Set screws in back of collet grip on to the square of the tap shank
- Collet can extend .250 Inches of travel
- Set screws need a 2.5mm Allen key (not included)
- Works in all ER16 Collet Chucks
